Transfer agreements
Virginia Commonwealth University welcomes and encourages properly qualified transfer students from the Virginia Community College System to apply to the university. VCU has entered into a number of guaranteed admission agreements with the VCCS. Below is a comprehensive list of VCU’s guaranteed admission agreements.

- Letter of interest for transferring from the Virginia Community College System to VCU
Beginning in fall 2011, VCCS students who submit a Letter of Interest [PDF] for transferring to VCU will be eligible for benefits described in the Addendum to the Guaranteed Admission Agreement. VCCS students who submit the Letter of Interest before fall 2011 will be placed on the Office of Undergraduate Admissions mailing list of prospective transfer students, but will not be eligible for the GAA benefits until fall 2011. At this time, VCCS students should not submit the $25 fee associated with these GAA benefits.
