Applications to Undergraduate Programs on the Monroe Park Campus
Applicants to undergraduate programs on the Monroe Park Campus may choose to apply online or by using our paper application. Applicants should read carefully all instructions and be sure they understand the requirements for the program into which they are applying. Some programs, including those in the School of the Arts require additional materials to be submitted in order for an application to be considered complete.
Applications for transfer students and current VCU students applying to Undergraduate Health Sciences programs on the MCV Campus
Transfer students and current VCU students who wish to apply to undergraduate programs in clinical laboratory sciences, clinical radiation sciences, dental hygiene and nursing on the MCV Campus should be aware that courses and credit requirements for admission vary for each program. Applicants to any of these programs must submit supplemental admissions materials.
Applications for post-baccalaureate certificate programs
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions processes applications for the post-baccalaureate programs in computer science, statistics and health sciences only. Students who wish to apply for admission consideration into post-baccalaureate programs other than these should visit the Web site of the school or department in which the program is housed. Why we ask for your Social Security number
While VCU does not require your Social Security number for admission consideration, it is necessary for applicants who wish to be considered for financial aid and Hope Scholarship/Lifetime Learning tax credit to provide a Social Security number to the university. To protect your privacy, your Social Security number will not be used as your VCU student identification number.

The instructions include a list of general admission criteria, as well as details about required materials and documentation that you need to send in to the VCU Office of Undergraduate Admissions in order for your application to be considered complete. Also included in the instructions is information about special requirements and supplemental materials necessary for applying for scholarships and to be considered for admission to specific programs.

The VCU Office of Undergraduate Admissions strongly encourages all students to apply to the university using the electronic application. Students who apply electronically will be able to check their application status online to be sure we have received all required materials (admissions decisions are not provided online). Paper applications can be downloaded in PDF format at the link provided below, or students who prefer that we mail them a paper application may request one to be mailed by e-mailing ugrad@vcu.edu. Students requesting a paper application to be mailed should allow two to four weeks for delivery and should provide their full name, date of birth and full address in the e-mail request.
The application fee for applying online is $40 and may be paid by credit card; the application fee for applying using the paper version of the application is $50 and may be paid by check or money order. The application fee is nonrefundable.
VCU students who currently are enrolled in a degree program on the Monroe Park Campus may apply to undergraduate health sciences programs on the MCV Campus without submitting an application fee.
