About Undergraduate Admissions

What brought you to VCU?

I loved the Richmond community from the moment I stepped onto campus, and I stayed for all of the opportunities that being here at VCU affords.

Name three adjectives that describe Undergraduate Admissions.

Cheerful, gregarious and bustling

What are three things we’ll find in your suitcase?

My notebook, my camera and my VCU flannel pajama shorts.

Best part of your job:

Being a small but very integral part of someone accomplishing their career goals and their dreams of going to college

What’s your favorite place on campus?

There’s an alley between the Millhiser and McAdams houses on Franklin Street that not many people know about. It is perfect for a picnic lunch or to use as a shortcut to Grace Street.

About me

What don’t most people know about you?

I went white water rafting when I was 14 on Class 5 rapids.

What are you reading right now?

“I Am Legend” by Richard Matheson and “A Wrinkle in Time” by Madeleine L’Engle

What’s on your iPod?

A mix of everything from Taylor Swift to the Pulp Fiction soundtrack to Jason Mraz

What’s your perfect Sunday afternoon?

Catching up on Netflix, making brunch and going to a festival or concert on Brown’s Island with friends

Who/what inspires you?

My little brother. I’m only two years older than him and we have always been competitive. Even though he won’t admit it, he looks up to me. If I can do something, I know he is going to try and do the same, but better.
