Undergraduate Admissions

Come spend a morning or afternoon — or better yet — a whole day at VCU. We offer info sessions and tours Monday through Saturday.

Daily information sessions and tours

Register to attend one of our daily information sessions for prospective students and their families.

The best way to get to know VCU is to visit us and see our campus for yourself. Information sessions are held in the Welcome Center, located at 1111 W. Broad St., every Monday through Saturday, except on holidays and holiday weekends. The information session is followed by a guided walking tour of the Monroe Park Campus, lasting just over an hour.

The guided campus tour does not include a visit to a residence hall room, but information about each of the residence halls, including general descriptions and floor plans, can be found at www.housing.vcu.edu/halls_villages.html. In addition, photographs of residence hall rooms are available in the Welcome Center and the Office of Admissions. After the tour is completed, an admissions counselor is available to meet with prospective students and their families who are interested in asking more personal questions.

Self-guided tour maps and routes are available in the Welcome Center for visitors who are unable to attend the daily session. A self-guided audio file and PDF of the campus map is available for download online. A PDF transcript of the audio file is also available for download.

Admissions office staff members are available in the center between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, except on holidays and holiday weekends, to speak with students and their families.
