VCU’s Leadership Workshop
VCU’s Leadership Workshop is a leadership and college preparation series designed to share information with Richmond public high school students about developing leadership skills and the college selection process. The program will allow students to engage with VCU staff and students to learn what it takes to be a leader and a scholar. At the conclusion of the workshop, students will be awarded a VCU Leadership Workshop Certificate.
This session will offer helpful information for parents as they help their students navigate the college application process, financial aid and on-campus student resources. The event will also feature interactive discussions for students and parents and lunch in the dining hall.

Check-in and dinner for VCU’s Leadership Workshop runs from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at the Academic Learning Commons, 1000 Floyd Ave. The program runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Academic Learning Commons, 1000 Floyd Ave. The program will conclude with lunch at Shafer Court Dining Center.
Parking and directions
Guests may park in the West Main Street Parking Deck at 801 W. Main St. The deck is located off of West Main Street between Cherry and Laurel streets.
