This is a general schedule of events for Virginia Commonwealth University’s Preview Day for accepted students. A detailed schedule will be handed out at check-in.
9 to 9:45 a.m.
Check-in for Preview Day runs from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at locations around campus. Students should check in at the location of the school they've been accepted to. A detailed program will be provided at check-in.
9:45 a.m to noon

University College tours and registration for new student orientation.
Stop by the University College, more commonly known as the UC, and learn more about the services it provides. Also, be among the first to register for new student orientation. Stop by the UC and select a date to attend.
Please note that you must have accepted VCU’s offer of admission to register for NSO. If you have not submitted your Response Form and tuition deposit to the Office of Admissions, you may do so during Preview Day when you visit the UC.

Fun on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus
- University services and resource fair
- Special interest sessions about the first-year experience and Education Abroad programs
1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
VCU Intercultural Festival, Monroe Park
Join the VCU and Richmond communities at this annual celebration of diversity. The Intercultural Festival at VCU, organized by the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs and current VCU students, features food, music, exhibits, demonstrations and performances by student cultural organizations. Students and their families who attend Preview Day are invited to participate.

If you cannot attend VCU’s Preview Day and would like to visit another time, daily information sessions are held in the Welcome Center, located at 1111 W. Broad St., Monday through Friday at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. and on Saturdays at 10:30 a.m. (except on holidays and holiday weekends). Information sessions are hosted by an admissions counselor and are followed by a guided walking tour of the Monroe Park Campus, lasting just over an hour.
