Roommate quiz

Take the roommate quiz

Ever wonder what kind of roommate you’ll be? Here’s your chance to find out! Take our quiz and see what life at VCU may be like for you. Keep in mind, this quiz is just for fun. Once you’re ready to apply for housing, VCU’s official housing application will help you find your match.

My MP3 player is filled with songs from:

  • Nelly Furtado.
  • Jay-Z.
  • Everyone from Norah Jones to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
  • Snow Patrol.
  • Dierks Bentley.

To me, college is all about:

  • Laying the groundwork for my career and/or grad school.
  • Partying with my new friends.
  • Leaving behind my hometown for the big city.
  • Spending time with teammates and perfecting my game.
  • Finding myself.

In my spare time, I plan to:

  • Explore all Richmond has to offer, from the restaurants to the history to the trails.
  • Hit the gym.
  • Make connections in the local art and music scenes.
  • Study, join the SGA, volunteer and get an internship.
  • Pledge a fraternity or sorority.

My favorite eatery at VCU will probably be:

  • Everywhere. With as many calories as I burn, I can eat whatever I want.
  • The local vegetarian hotspot.
  • Whatever’s open until 2 a.m.
  • The Student Commons so I can meet new people.
  • The coffee shop so I can grab a bite during team meetings.

I’ll use my dorm room most for:

  • Sleeping.
  • Working on my next big piece.
  • Planning my next trip to the beach or mountains. I’ve got to take in this scenery while I can!
  • Studying and perfecting my résumé.
  • Watching ESPN.

My favorite reality show is:

  • “The Amazing Race.”
  • I don’t like reality shows. I’d rather have the adventure myself!
  • “Two-a-days.”
  • Anything on Bravo.
  • “American Idol.”

The one thing I can’t live without is my:

  • Bike.
  • Energy drink.
  • Cell phone.
  • Day planner.
  • Quiet time.

I’ll show my VCU school spirit by:

  • Participating in all the Homecoming activities.
  • Entering my work into the Wearable Art fashion show.
  • Signing up for the Outdoor Adventure Program’s annual Spring Break trip.
  • Cheering on the Rams.
  • Running for SGA president.

My favorite way to study is:

  • Late into the night. It usually makes for an interesting morning!
  • With a study group – the more the merrier!
  • On my own – I don’t need any distractions.
  • While I’m on a treadmill at the gym.
  • Gradually. Cramming is so unnecessary.

If I could pick one quality in my new roommate, it would be:

  • Energetic.
  • Spontaneous.
  • Outgoing.
  • Organized.
  • Intelligent.
