Shaneé Crews

Hello! My name is Shaneé Crews and I am the manager of the Welcome Center for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions here at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Born and raised in Richmond, I love what the “River City” has to offer. Known for its location two hours from the beach and two hours from the mountains, Richmond provides the best in scenery, entertainment, arts and restaurants.

I joined the admissions staff in November 2006, but have been with the university since August 1999. When asked, “What’s the best quality of VCU?” I always answer “It’s diversity.” VCU offers tremendous opportunities of diversity: diversity in the areas of study available, diversity in the students’ backgrounds and interests, and diversity in the university’s organizations and team sports.
