About the Office of Undergraduate Admissions
What brought you to VCU?
I love the city of Richmond and the historic Fan district. VCU to me is the common thread that ties together education, culture, the community and its citizens in this capital city. The best job you can have once you graduate from a university is to have the opportunity to be an ambassador for it.
Name three adjectives that describe the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
A family, ever-changing and entertaining.
What do you enjoy most about meeting prospective VCU students?
Observing how excited they are to go to college. Witnessing their enthusiasm makes me proud of my university even more.
What are three things we’ll find in your suitcase?
Sneakers for the gym, an assortment of neckties and my two favorite DVDs, Trading Places and Entourage (they are a package deal).
What’s your favorite place on campus?
The 5th floor of the Bowe Street Parking Deck (Art Foundation’s headquarters).
About me
What don’t most people know about you?
That I don’t take myself seriously.
What are you reading right now?
“Pour Your Heart Into It” by Howard Schultz.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A sportscaster.
What do you order at Starbucks?
Iced café Americano. No water, splash of skim milk.
What inspires you?
When I read or listen to the life stories of the world’s most successful leaders.
