The best way to get to know Virginia Commonwealth University is to visit us. We offer campus tours and information sessions (también en español) Monday through Saturday except on holidays and holiday weekends. The information sessions begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Welcome Center, followed by an hour-long walking tour of the Monroe Park Campus.

Office of Undergraduate Admissions has temporarily moved

Ritter Hickok HouseThe Office of Undergraduate Admissions has temporarily moved from its location in the Ritter-Hickok House to Grace E. Harris Hall at 1015 Floyd Ave. If you are on the Monroe Park Campus and have questions and inquiries, please visit the main office in Harris Hall, Room 4117 or the Welcome Center, located at 1111 W. Broad St.

Ritter-Hickok House is undergoing renovations and is expected to be completed by October 2008.

Built in 1855, the Ritter-Hickok House at 821 West Franklin Street is the oldest building on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. Purchased in 1939 by Richmond Professional Institute, the building was the sixth property acquired by the school and used initially as a women’s dormitory.

University to observe Memorial Day holiday

The university will be closed on Saturday, May 24 and Monday, May 26, 2008, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Information sessions and campus tours will not be held on those days.
